  • June, 1973 - May, 1976: Ph.D. in Economics received from The University of Mississippi. The following fields of specialization are included in the Ph.D. degree: Quatitative Methods, Managerial Economics, Health Care Administration, Economic Theory, and Managerial Accounting.
 
  • Dissertation Topic: Estimation of a Vintage Model of Production for the United States Pharmaceutical Preparation Industry.
  • June 1969 - August 1970: Received a Master of Business Administration degree from Mississippi State University. Major in economics and minor in finance.
  • September 1965 - June 1969: Bachelor's degree from Mississippi University for Women. Graduated cum laude.
