
Welcome to my web page. I am an associate professor of chemistry at The Citadel in Charleston, SC. I teach/have taught the Introductory Chemistry (CHEM 103/104, 113/114), General Chemistry (CHEM 151/152, 161/162), Quantitative Analysis (CHEM 300) and Instrumental Analysis (CHEM 302) courses. I have also taught a Forensic Chemistry special topics course. My research interests are in the areas of photochemistry, marine biotoxin isolation and identification, novel fluorescent materials, and environmental water chemistry. I am also responsible for purchasing and maintenance of chemical analysis instrumentation in the department, including (not limited to) GC-MS, FTIR, AA, SEM, and UV-vis.
