DO NOT ASK ME TO ADJUST YOUR GRADE EVEN IF YOU ARE ONE-TENTH OF A POINT AWAY FROM A LETTER GRADE. THIS REQUEST WILL BE REGARDED AS ASKING ME TO CHEAT YOUR FELLOW CLASSMATES. |
|
The grading scale which follows will be used to determine your final letter grade in this course. Please note that your grade for this class is determined by a raw score. Thus, you need not worry about what your percentage score is for a particular exam. For example, if you lose 3 points on your first exam , the maximum amount of points you may accumulate by the end of the semester is 437 ( i.e. 440 - 3 = 437 ). Do not ask your instructor for other means of extra credit. Your best method of obtaining a "quality" grade in this course is to spend quality time studying and participating in the class. |
